Event Description:
EASTON — Meet local employers, network and present your resume at the Regional Job Fair from 1 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 22, at the Talbot County Community Center in Easton.
More than 40 employers with open positions will be recruiting from the Mid-Shore. The M1 mobile career center bus will assist with resumes and lend moral support, according to a news release from the Talbot County Chamber of Commerce.
A resource area will be available to supply local supportive and organizational resources. Volunteers will offer tips for talking to employers, locating available transportation, provide information on educational courses and offer sign language and language interpretation support.
The event is sponsored by the Talbot, Dorchester, Queen Anne’s, Kent and Caroline Chambers of Commerce, Chesapeake College, Mid-Shore Economic Development Commissions, Departments of Social Services, Division of Workforce Development and Adult Learning, Upper Shore Workforce Investment Board and The Star Democrat.
