Event Description:
It's here! For the first time, the Maryland State Police will host its first ever "Career Night" in western Maryland.
While many job fairs do not ordinarily benefit military, law enforcement and emergency services, this event plans to draw a large number of young people and students specifically interested in careers in national security, public safety and emergency services.
Federal Law Enforcement in attendance: FBI, ATF, DEA, HSI, U.S. Secret Service, National Park Service, Fort Detrick Police and Emergency Services.
What about the military? They will be there. The Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines and National Guard will ALL be here.
Will any local law enforcement departments be there? The Maryland State Police, Frederick Police, Frederick County Sheriffs Office, Brunswick Police, Hagerstown City Police, Natural Resource Police, Maryland Transportation Authority and State Fire Marshals will be here. Come hungry!!! Dominos Pizza and the Feed Company will be here. The Feed Company is famous for their cheese steak subs, specialty tacos, seafood and other famous choices, such as their braised pulled pork and Italian sausages and much, much more.
Need entertainment? We'll have a mock, two vehicle crash scene with victim extractions and a MSP helicopter to provide the Medivac transport. K-9 demonstrations, motorcycles, beer goggle peddle carts, explosives robot, EOD, underwater recovery team, military exhibits and more.
