The Maryland State Archives will be hosting a free Family History Festival on Saturday, November 7, 2015 from 10:00am - 4:30pm in Annapolis. We invite you to come and meet our staff and see how important our collections are to both family and community history! Please save the date and plan to join us for this free family event!

This open house-style event will feature:

• Expert lectures on genealogy, history, and archival research 
• Hands-on demonstrations on caring for your own family papers and photos
• Children's activities highlighting family history 
• Special Exhibits
• Opportunities to meet staff from genealogical and historical societies throughout the state
• Closing Address given by special guest speaker

Festival runs from 10:00am until 4:30pm, Program registration begins at 9:00am.
