Building Tomorrow’s BioHealth Workforce – A Career Counselor Symposium

Event Description:
A Career Counselor Symposium with keynote speaker and Secretary of the Maryland Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation (DLLR), Kelly M. Schulz.

Industry, government, and university representatives will be on hand to discuss how best to attract and prepare graduates for careers in the bioscience industry and how to prepare students to be job-ready by graduation. Representatives from several companies, government agencies, private sector, and colleges and universities will also be available to answer questions regarding workforce projections, career choices, degree options, and internships. Opportunities for one-on-one meetings with industry representatives will be available during our Bio Buzz networking event from 4 – 6 p.m. This conference is an excellent opportunity to network with some of the top industry and government professionals in the BioHealth Capital Region.

This event is free and open to high school and university career counselors; however, registration is required. Lunch will be provided.
