Economic Development Day, in partnership with the Maryland Department of Commerce, brings together elected and appointed officials from around the state with economic development professionals for one day to celebrate and explore efforts to bring jobs and investment to Maryland. As we gather in the state capital, there is a special focus on the role of public policy in creating an environment that puts Maryland in a competitive position with other states. All members of the General Assembly have been invited by MEDA, but we encourage you to reach out to your local influencers and encourage them to attend.
The day is designed to provide an opportunity to network with elected and appointed officials, highlight your business in a unique location, share how our diverse industry sectors play a vital role in the state’s economic climate, and represent economic development to all our partners.
Industry sectors including telecommunications, biotechnology, manufacturing, health care, cybersecurity, and others will come together to highlight their transformative statewide economic development efforts.
