Event Description:
The event is held in conjunction with Howard County Economic Development Authority on Tuesday, July 17th from 8 - 9:30 am. The event is called Exporting for Defense Contractors: Is it an Option? and it will be held at HCC Gateway, Room 3 | 6751 Columbia Gateway Drive, Columbia, MD 21046. Breakfast will be served for all attendees.
This free breakfast event will be an informational session and Q&A led by Suzanne Palmer from Export Compliance Solutions, with 15 years of experience in the State Department followed by hands on import and export experience in the defense industry sector. Suzanne will walk participants through what they need to know when deciding whether to export their product or service. This training is specifically for Maryland defense firms interested in exporting but unsure whether it's an option for them.
This will be Part 1 of a 3-part series focused on exporting for defense. Part 2 will provide attendees with federal and state resources for exporting and Part 3 will tackle the next steps to begin exporting.
Priority registration for Parts 2 & 3 will be given to those who attend Part 1. |
