The Technical Innovation Center at Hagerstown Community College is offering a business networking event, “Mugs and Pitches,” on Jan. 19, Feb. 16, March 16, and March 20, from 8:30 to 9:45 a.m., in the Career Programs Building, room 211.

The event will feature business pitches with feedback sessions after each pitch. Attendees get the opportunity to ask questions, provide constructive criticism, and network with other businesses. Fresh coffee to be provided by Pure Vida Coffee.

Attendees will learn methods for creating a military-ready culture, review facts on military spouses, and receive actionable methods for engaging with and recruiting this valuable talent pool.

The session will be taught by Miligistix, an HR consulting firm that specializes in optimizing, developing, and training recruiting teams with an emphasis on military and veteran programs.
