Amp Up Your Small Business
This interactive workshop helps small businesses gain a greater insight into various aspects of doing business with the state of Maryland. You'll review the most basic steps, such as registering as a vendor on eMaryland Marketplace and the Small Business Reserve Program, how to find what agencies are buying what you are selling, and how to search for procurement opportunities. This is a comprehensive overview of the many factors involved in helping you be a competitive vendor.
Who should attend? Small business owners who want to enhance their knowledge and ability to compete in the state procurement arena.
Procurement 101
This workshop is for small businesses that have little or no knowledge of the state procurement process. We'll focus on common terminology, examine how the state contracting arena operates, and provide independent resources to help you determine if pursuing work in the public sector would be beneficial to your company at this time.
