NAVAIR Systems Engineering Transformation Initiative Industry Day
The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), through the Systems Engineering Transformation (SET) Initiative, is in the process of transforming the acquisition practices from document centric to model centric. This Request for Information (RFI) is intended to gather information and feedback from industry partners as a part of market research related to the implementation of the SET Initiative. This will be Industry’s opportunity to influence this process. NAVAIR will use the information gathered from this RFI to help define processes and standards for a model centric acquisition approach.
All Day Cyber-Enabled Emerging Technologies Symposium
Come see this showcase of cyber-enabled emerging technologies enabling new approaches to national security and military operations. These technologies will focus on military effects enabled by emerging technologies such as machine learning, artificial intelligence, augmented reality, autonomous systems, decision support systems, and human-machine interfaces.

Walter O’Brien, businessman, visionary, and the real-life “Scorpion” behind the prime-time CBS drama, will present his unique insights and perspective at the symposium alongside a host of other notable speakers, including Mr. James Cole, the Senior Director of Security Architecture and Strategic Planning at the Intel Corporation.
