Start Day Civil War Soldiers: Discovering the Men of the 25th United States Colored Troops (Multi-Day Event)
After viewing an antique photo album of 17 black soldiers from the Civil War, artist Shayne Davidson researched, wrote biographies, and created portraits of each man. The result is now a book and an exhibit.
