Start Day | The APG Discovery Week (Multi-Day Event) The goal of the APG Discovery Week APBI is to provide industry with networking opportunities for both large and small businesses. The APG Discovery Week APBI will describe potential future contracting opportunities for mission areas that focus on: command, control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance; research and development; test and evaluation; chemical and biological defense; and APG Garrison. The APG Discovery Week APBI will identify potential contracting opportunities that align with the roadmaps of participating Team APG organizations. The APG Discovery Week APBI briefing slides will be posted on this site electronically two weeks prior to the start of the event. The Government will not hear formal bids from industry, as the purpose of the APG Discovery Week APBI is for the Government to brief upcoming opportunities to industry to help potential partners better understand Army capability requirements and shape their internal development efforts.
In order to facilitate deeper dialogue between Government and industry, the APG Discovery Week APBI will also feature individual breakout sessions hosted by Team APG organizations. These breakouts are intended to provide a forum to improve communication in a less formal environment.
The APG Discovery Week APBI is unclassified and open to all interested contractors, large and small businesses, and academia, as well as other Government stakeholders.
All APG Discovery Week APBI attendees must be United States citizens and meet the requirements for admission to APG, including proper identification (i.e., driver's license and/or Common Access Card), car registration or a car rental agreement, and proof of insurance. | |
