Event Description:
This class will cover the basics of determining the costing and pricing for a product or service. It is designed to provide practical help to the new or prospective business owners in establishing their true costs to manufacture the product or deliver the service. The class will discuss fixed and variable costs as well as the calculation of profit margins. In addition, various pricing strategies will be discussed with real world examples. Basic economic laws (supply/demand curves, price elasticity etc.) will be referenced but a financial background is not required. |
