Johns Hopkins Biomedical Career Fair

Event Description:
We invite your participation in the annual 2016 Johns Hopkins Biomedical PhD Career Fair.   Our East Baltimore campus is home to 800 biomedical graduate students, 700 public health graduate students, and 1,350 postdoctoral fellows.   PhD students and postdoctoral fellows from neighboring institutions the University of Maryland, Howard University and the National Institutes of Health will also be invited.  Johns Hopkins medical students and residents, Masters of Public Health students, and Whiting School of Engineering Master and Ph.D. students will also be invited.

Our graduate students and postdoctoral fellows are seeking job opportunities and information about your organization for their futures in the workforce. Our programs have a strong focus on medical innovation, translational research, biomedical engineering and basic sciences.  

Career Fair: 11:00 am to 2:00 pm
Small Table Networking Sessions (optional): 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm
Individual Interviews (optional) 9:00 am to 6:00 pm 

Registration fee is $300
Government Agencies and non-profit organizations receive a $50 discount

Registration includes:
-Opportunity to promote job openings from the time of registration through August 2017 through our weekly jobs email
-Access to resumes from trainees attending career fair
-Acknowledgement on all marketing including our website, Facebook page and Twitter accounts
-Lunch and parking


Any employer who cannot attend our career fair is welcome to contact us about visiting campus or other partnerships at phd_recruit@jhmi.edu . In addition to jobs, our biomedical graduate students are also seeking internships. If you are interested in recruiting interns from Johns Hopkins’ biomedical graduate programs, please contact the Biomedical Careers Initiative at bci@jhmi.edu or the Biomedical Engineering Extramural Development in Graduate Education Center at bme.edge@jhu.edu.
