Event Description: Government contracting can offer significant opportunities for growth and sustainability to small businesses. Competition is tough in the public sector and a critical key to success lies within understanding the rules that govern the procurement process. This is particularly important when performing as a Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) in either the prime contractor or subcontractor role. Join us for an in-depth look at your rights as well as your responsibilities.
Who should attend? Small businesses and certified MBEs who are ready and able to perform as a prime contractor or a subcontractor on state-funded procurements.
MBE Rights & Responsibilities is a technical training workshop offered by the Governor's Office of Minority Affairs for small businesses that want to do business with the State of Maryland. Seating is limited and advance registration is required. There is no cost to attend. Ample free parking is available on-site. |
