10:00 AM - 2:00 PM Washington County Tree Planting

Join CBF for a tree planting in Washington County where we will plant at least a thousand trees to create a forested buffer and increase biodiversity on historic farm land. Forested streamside buffers are an important part of managing water quality because they absorb and filter runoff before it reaches the water.

Attendees will learn about CBF's farm stewardship program, regenerative agriculture, and the role trees play in mitigating climate change and improving water quality.

11:00 AM - 2:00 PM Belair Edison Neighborhood Tree Planting
Get your hands dirty for clean water and a greener Baltimore! Join Blue Water Baltimore staff as we plant trees along the streets of a few Baltimore City neighborhoods. Volunteers new to planting trees and expert TreeKeepers alike are welcome to attend. Our tree planting projects are rain or shine, and we recommend closed-toed shoes and clothing that is appropriate for the weather and getting dirty. Hats, sunblock, and sunglasses are strongly encouraged. We ask volunteers to bring a reusable water bottle to reduce waste. We provide work gloves, hand tools, and snacks but feel free to bring your own if you prefer.
6:00 PM - 8:00 PM Virtual Public Comment & Hearing Animal Feeding Operations Permit
2 hour virtual public comment and hearing
