Program:
  • Discuss how Maryland companies can save up to 60% on early stage clinical trials by partnering with Australian companies
  • Introduce Maryland biotech companies to  the regulatory pathways, reimbursements, FDAA-TGA (the australian equivalent of the FDA) harmonization and R&D tax incentives
  • In September 2019, Maryland signed an MOU with the State of Victoria, Australia, to develop a cooperative relationship in life sciences.
Guest Speaker: The Honourable Peter McGauran
The Honourable Peter McGauran is Australia’s Consul-General and Senior Trade and Investment Commissioner to Houston, Texas. He is also Head of International Health in the Americas for Austrade where he assists international buyers to source goods and services from Australia identify strategic Australian business partners.
