Then attend this Anne Arundel Future Workforce Fair put on by Anne Arundel Economic Development and Anne Arundel County Public School System.
Anne Arundel County has one of the lowest unemployment rates in Maryland and lower than the national average. Good for workers but challenging for businesses.
According to a monthly report on small business employment released by payroll company ADP, the tight labor market will continue to limit hiring at small businesses and firms will “find it increasingly difficult to find and hire qualified workers.”
The event will introduce you to local programs that train and certify workers who are ready for placement whether as an employee, intern or apprentice. This event is your chance to learn about these programs face-to-face in an interactive environment. |
