Get your hands dirty for clean water and a greener Baltimore! Join Blue Water Baltimore staff as we plant trees in the west Baltimore community of Violetville. Novice volunteers and expert TreeKeepers alike are welcome to attend. Our tree planting projects are rain or shine, and we recommend closed-toed shoes and clothing that is appropriate for the weather and getting dirty. Hats, sunblock, and sunglasses are strongly encouraged. We ask volunteers to bring a reusable water bottle to reduce our waste.

We need your help to restore habitats and remove invasive plants in the park! A brief overview of some of our offenders will be presented and we will begin to manually remove them along the Red Trail at the future site of the Woodland Restoration Garden. We will branch out into other areas of the park, hoping to encourage the return of our lovely native plants. Tools will be available, but you are welcome to bring your favorites along with work gloves.
