Event Description:
Earth Day is an annual event to demonstrate support for environmental protection, conservation, and sustainability. The first Earth Day was held on April 22, 1970, and it now includes a wide range of global events that reach 1 billion people in more than 193 countries.
As a leader in the sustainability movement, the City of Takoma Park celebrates not just Earth Day, but Earth Month, and a series of events hosted by both the City and regional partners take place each year in April. Here’s a list of what’s coming up: |
