Event Description:

The Maryland Agricultural Commission will meet May 11 in Annapolis. The agenda includes a presentation on the  “Status of Water Quality Trading Efforts in Maryland” by Lynn Buhl, director of Water Management Administration, Maryland Department of the Environment; and Susan Payne, coordinator of Ecosystem Markets and Certainty Programs, Maryland Department of Agriculture.

The commission serves as an advisory body to the Secretary and Deputy Secretary of agriculture. Its members are appointed by the Governor and represent major commodity groups across Maryland.
