A Greener Goodbye, a free community spring vendor fair on Sunday, May 18, from 10 am-12 pm at Irvine Nature Center in Owings Mills, MD. This educational and interactive event will bring together green burial cemeteries, environmentally conscious businesses, expert speakers, and local organizations dedicated to sustainable end-of-life and eco-friendly practices. Dr. Dan Morhaim, former Maryland State Delegate and green burial advocate, will be our featured guest speaker! As more individuals seek environmentally conscious choices in all aspects of life, interest in green burial continues to grow.
10:00 AM - 2:00 PM Bay Day - Ocean Pines

Bay Day is back for a 6th year! Come out to White Horse Park to learn how you can make a difference in your own backyard and see the amazing organizations working to protect our Coastal Bays watershed. This fun-filled educational day is hosted by the Maryland Coastal Bays Program and the Ocean Pines Association.

Festivities will be happening from 10:00am to 2:00pm, so come for an hour or stay all day. We will have something for everyone, hands-on educational activities at every booth, live music, food trucks, free boat rides on the St. Martin, and more! And the Exploration Station is back for another year so you can explore what projects MCBP and our partners are currently working on!

We will have plenty of opportunities for volunteers to help at various stations across the event! Due to the wide range of activities, we have both mobile and stationary positions available.

Join the Baltimore Magnet Fishers on Kent Island for a fun and different way of cleaning up our waters followed by a casual picnic. Equipment will be provided.
10:00 AM - 1:00 PM PHG Cleanup & Invasive Removal: Howard Crossing Apartments
Join Patapsco Heritage Greenway for a cleanup event at Howard Crossing Apartments along the Sucker Branch
10:30 AM - 1:30 PM SAPPling's Serenity Garden Clean-Up, Silver Spring
Join SAPPling members as they clear out trash and non-native invasive species from the garden and surrounding area.
