The final event of the Shabbaton is the Green Mitzvathon Fair on Sunday. This is an outdoor event (indoor if rain) with fun activities for all- children and adults. Booths with different vendors will promote environmentally services (e.g. solar energy, recycling, etc.), hold demonstrations (such as composting), and give away prizes. The fair will include food and several speakers. This fair will underscore the consistent message of the Shabbaton and give participants practical ways to implement what they have learned in an affordable way, with access to resources. | |
| 12:00 PM - 3:00 PM | Kick Gas Annapolis Drive Electric Earth Month Vehicle Showcase
The Electric Vehicle Association of Greater DC (EVADC), serving drivers in Maryland, Northern Virginia and the District of Columbia, invites EV Drivers, EV Enthusiasts and the EV Curious to attend our Kick Gas Annapolis EV Showcase. The event will be held on Sunday, May 4, noon to 3pm, at the Annapolis Mall, in the parking area closest to Jennifer Road and West Street, just off US Route 50.
In addition to showcasing EVs of all types, we are planning informational seminars and will feature information from environmental organizations such as the Anne Arundel Group of the Maryland Chapter of the Sierra Club, EV-related organizations such as the Electric Vehicle Association, and EV-related services and products.
