9:00 AM - 1:00 PM Boonsboro Green Fest Swap & Recycling Event
The Boonsboro Green Fest committee is hosting another Swap & Recycling Event in Shafer Park in Boonsboro on Saturday, May 9 from 9am - 2pm.

Clothing (including shoes and accessories) for the Swap will be collected throughout the week ahead of the event at Pavilion 1. Our team will be available Wednesday -Thursday, May 6 - 7 from 5pm - 7pm and on Friday, May 8 from 3pm - 6pm. You may also bring clothing with you on Saturday, May 9 during the regular event hours. Pavilion 1 is located right off of the Community Center Parking Lot in Shafer Park near the baseball diamond.

Mark your calendars now and be ready to Swap & Recycle usable goods--including plants, household items, art & craft supplies, accessories, shoes, books, and more. There will also be areas set up to collect hard to recycle items such as scrap metal, electronics/televisions, bulky hard plastics, wine corks, disposable razors, beauty product packaging, dental care items, egg cartons and lots more.

Enjoy locally roasted coffee, live music and eco-conscious food truck offerings while you browse the offerings at the various swap areas.
A full list of items to be recycled can be found on the Town’s website. Please note that we will not be collecting appliances containing Freon/refrigerants or household trash. Those items can be safely disposed of at the 40 West Landfill operated by the Washington County Division of Solid Waste Management.

This event is open to the public and not limited to the residents of Boonsboro. If you are able to volunteer at the event or help with set-up and/or clean-up, please reach out to the committee at [email protected].

**Horizon Goodwill will be collecting donations. Children in Need will receive remaining clothing and suitcases from the swap. As always, monetary donations from the clothing swap will be collected for Micah's Backpack--serving area children
