Event Description:
Dr. Vyacheslav Lyubchich of the University of Maryland Center for Environmental Science  will present initial findings from a study using advanced machine learning to understand and address inefficiencies in baby oyster production at hatcheries. Dr. Lyubchich, an expert in environmental statistics and time series analysis, has been with UMCES since 2015 and is a founding member of the Environmental Statistical Collaborative.
