Are you interested in doing business in Japan? Please join the Maryland Department of Commerce and Governor Yuji Kuroiwa for a roundtable discussion on the life sciences and biotech industries in Kanagawa, Prefecture in Japan. 

Governor Yuji Kuroiwa leads Kanagawa Prefecture, Maryland’s sister state in Japan. Like Maryland, Kanagawa is located near their nation’s capital and has an exceptionally strong ecosystem for the life sciences industries. Governor Kuroiwa has launched a policy package called the “Healthcare New Frontier” to combine the most advanced medical treatments and technologies with healthy lifestyles to deal with the challenges facing a rapidly aging population. This could be a great opportunity for Maryland businesses to enter or expand in the Japanese market. 

The Maryland Department of Commerce is also planning a trade mission to Medical Japan in Tokyo and Kanagawa from October 21-25. Come to the roundtable or contact us to learn more!
