Event Description:
Join the Maryland Clean Energy Center (MCEC) to discuss the Notice of Funding Opportunity for the next round of the DOT/FHWA Charging and Fueling Infrastructure Discretionary Grant. MCEC is looking to bring together a collaborative group with shovel ready projects for electric vehicle charging station installation throughout the state. The focus of the application will be on rural areas and underserved communities with EV Charging helping to fill in gaps and benefit Justice40 communities.

MCEC will be submitting both a COMMUNITY and CORRIDOR application for Round 2. We encourage everyone to bring their best ideas to the meeting to ensure we develop an innovative application and stay competitive in Round 2. The Notice of Funding Opportunity can be found here. Please note there are differences between this year’s application and last year’s application, which will be discussed during the meeting. A total project match of 20% is required for all projects.
