Event Description:
Public opposition to new data centers is bipartisan and strong. How is public opinion shaping decisions about data center development? Join us for a discussion on Americans’ views on data centers and lessons from legislation recently passed in New Jersey which incentivizes data centers to offset their electricity use by funding home energy upgrades. Dr. Anthony Leiserowitz, Director of the Yale Program on Climate Change Communication will moderate a conversation with Neha Gour, Researcher at George Mason University’s Center for Climate Change Communication and Kristin Eberhard, VP of Policy at Rewiring America.
