Friends of Oella Cemetery is leading this event and could use some additional helping hands!
What to Bring
- Tools: Feel free to bring your own tools; however, you are responsible for your tools AND your safety. There will be tools, work gloves, and safety vests provided. Please refrain from bringing any tools that require a gas engine.
- Layered Clothing: Dress appropriately for the outdoors. Long sleeves/pants highly recommended.
- Closed-Toe Shoes REQUIRED: Wear comfortable, but protective shoes as terrain is unpredictable. Boots are recommended.
- Water Bottle: There will NOT be water available on site. Please bring your own water with you! And snacks if desired.

Join PHG & Catonsville Rails to Trails in completing tree maintenance on our 40 trees at the trailhead!
Help Patapsco Heritage Greenway and Catonsville Rails to Trails maintain our trees by adding mulch, weeding, and repairing the deer caging!
What to Bring for our Event
- Layered Long Clothing: The weather is ever changing in fall so be prepared for it to be sunny, cloudy, rainy, warm, cold, or a combination of any of these. Long pants and sleeves are your friends when it comes to outdoor environmental events.
- Closed-Toe Shoes: Wear comfortable, but protective shoes since there will be branches, thorns, and holes.
- Full Water Bottle: You will be working hard and we want everyone to stay HYDRATED.
- Bug spray & sunscreen

This summer, the Anne Arundel County Executive’s Office will host four River Days festivals at different waterfront locations throughout the county.
"The goal of these events is to provide public water access and inspire our residents to become stewards who will protect the health of our local waterways," said County Executive Pittman. "River Days provide families an opportunity to get out on the water and fall in love with that place that they live."
River Days Festivals are hosted by the County Executive’s Office. All events are free and open to the public. Each festival will feature fun activities for all ages, including boat rides, water activities, environmental educators, live music, games, crafts, food trucks, and more. Boat rides are free, but capacity is limited and tickets will be available first come, first served to festival attendees beginning one hour before each scheduled boat ride departure. A full schedule of boat ride times and ticket pickup times will be posted before each event. | |
