Event Description: On Thursday, January 14th from 4-6:30pm pm there will be an open house for the spring courses in the “Advanced Studies in Technology Transfer” program at the Foundation for Advanced Education in the Sciences (FAES) Graduate School at NIH in the FAES Academic Center in NIH Building 10.
For the semester beginning on February 1st there will be 13 courses available:
• TECH 503 -- Business Law Primer
• TECH 508 -- Food and Drug Law for Scientists
• TECH 512 – Global Bioethics (NEW)
• TECH 513 -- Introduction to Technology Transfer
• TECH 566 – Building a Biotechnology Company: Learn First-Hand From Industry Experts
• TECH 572 – Marketing Strategies for Scientific Organizations
• TECH 582 – Intellectual Property and Patent Prosecution for Scientists
• TECH 583 – Patent Research for Non-Legal Practitioners
• TECH 584 – Translational Medical Product Development
• TECH 607 -- Capstone Course in Technology Transfer
• CHEM 327 – The Art of Drug Design and Discovery
• PHAR 500 -- Principles of Clinical Pharmacology
• PHAR 511 – Current Concepts in Pharmacology and Therapeutics
Online registration for classes is now open. The Advanced Studies in Technology Transfer is an open enrollment program with class credits transferable into various MBA & MS degree programs at the University of Maryland University College (UMUC) Graduate School and the Johns Hopkins University Center for Biotechnology Education. |
