Event Description: If you are a veteran or a service-disabled veteran, there are many federal government contracting opportunities available to you and your small business. In order to participate, it’s important that you certify your small business as Veteran-Owned or Service Disabled Veteran-Owned so you can take advantage of the resources designed especially for you. Under this program, contracting officers may restrict competition to SDVOSBs and award a sole source or set-aside contract when appropriate. There is a 3% agency-wide goal so don’t miss your opportunity. The SBDC workshop will include an overview of the following:
• Eligibility requirements
• Benefits of the program
• Application process & Veterans Administration involvement
• Maintaining eligibility
• Overview on how set-aside contracts are awarded
