23-WL-0638/EDWIN A & JOHN O CRANDELL, INC., 1014 Benning Road, Galesville, MD 20765 proposes pier activities. North pier: Replace in-kind a 253-foot long by 6-foot wide pier, three tapered 14-foot long by 3-foot wide finger piers, and twelve mooring piles; and to construct a 125-foot long by 6-foot wide pier extension, all extending a maximum of 380 feet channelward of the mean high water line at an existing bulkhead. South Pier: Replace in-kind a 88-foot long by 23-foot wide platform, and a 171-foot long by 6-foot wide pier; and to construct a 121-foot long by 6-foot wide pier extension, all extending a maximum of 380 feet channelward of the mean high water line at an existing bulkhead. The purpose of the structures is to provide additional safe mooring for the barges used by the owner. The proposed project is located within the tidal waters of Tenthouse Creek at 1014 Benning Road, Galesville, MD 20765 in Anne Arundel County. |
