Event Description:
The NCCoE Speaker Series features nationally known thought leaders addressing issues in cybersecurity. Captain Kathryn Hire, USN, will talk about her experience as a pioneer in the Navy, a NASA astronaut, one of the first women to graduate from the U.S. Naval Academy, and the first woman assigned to a combat aircrew. Captain Hire will share her thoughts on how STEM education can open possibilities for people to enter fields that they hadn’t considered.
