Event Description:
Janice Riley said there is a lot of high-tech work going on the Hagerstown area, so she is organizing a seminar to give those firms a hand.
Riley, who manages the Technical Innovation Center at Hagerstown Community College, is planning a free event on April 12 that will include speakers from NASA, the U.S. Department of Agriculture, the National Security Agency, the National Institutes of Health and other federal entities.
The seminar is designed to introduce local business leaders to the Federal Laboratory Consortium, a network of more than 300 labs, agencies and research centers that helps push technologies to the private marketplace. |
