Watershed Walk at The Preserve at Eisenhower Golf Course

Event Description:
This Golf Course, which has been in operation since 1969, was purchased by the County and reopened in May 2022 after a major collaborative course renovation and environmental restoration effort led by both the Anne Arundel County Department of Public Works and Anne Arundel County Department of Recreation and Parks.
Excitingly, this course has really earned the title of, “Preserve” as it boasts high-quality habitat for a wide variety of native animal and plant species. Most notably on this tour, we will focus on the diverse community of bird species, along with some signs of our favorite local ecosystem engineers…beavers! We will be joined by special guest and avid birder, Jack Turner, to see how many species of birds we can find during our tour, too!
