Event Description: Please join us for a community dialogue on "Rural and Urban Values" next Wed., April 19 from 6-8:30 p.m. at the Frostburg Community Center. Please share the attached flyer to invite your students and neighbors. We are pleased to partner with the African American Studies minor, Black Student Alliance, College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, and Division of Student Affairs on this event as well as our local branch 7007 of the NAACP for this Leadership Studies Residency event. I am grateful to the Communication Leadership Lab assistants and co-facilitators working with me on this project. Special thanks to Tara Taylor, Director of Education and Outreach at the Maryland Commission on Civil Rights, and Dr. Diane McMahon, Associate Professor of Sociology and director of the Service Learning and Civic Engagement Center at Allegany College of Maryland, for working with us as well. Shift Farm-to-Table Eatery will provide refreshments. Hope to see you there!
