Ustad Shafaat is a master of sitar, surbahar and tabla. Sista Mafalda adds an energetic blend of African, Caribbean and American dance and drum traditions, and Kuumba Performers showcase their kuumba (“creativity” in Swahili), led by the award-winning teacher and performer Mafalda T. Bouzy.
