Anne Arundel County, Maryland has applied for a Refuse Disposal Permit to construct and operate the proposed vertical expansion of the existing Cell 9 at the Millersville Landfill and Resource Recovery Facility located at 389 Burns Crossing Road, Severn, in Anne Arundel County, Maryland. The landfill is a non-hazardous solid waste acceptance facility that accepts residential waste, commercial waste, bulky waste, land clearing debris, scrap tires, construction and demolition debris, and recyclables.

An Informational Meeting is being held to provide an opportunity to the general public to obtain information about the permit application and MDE's review process. Questions can be directed to Allison Marong at allison.marong@maryland.gov
