Event Description:
The Maryland Department of the Environment is establishing a packaging Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) program for the state. The EPR program was established by Senate Bill 222 (9-2501 through 9-2510​ of the E​nvironment Article, Annotated Code of Maryland), that was passed in the 2023 Gene​ral Assembly.
