Get your hands dirty for clean water and a greener Baltimore! Join Blue Water Baltimore staff as we plant trees in the northwest Baltimore community of Howard Park. Novice volunteers and expert TreeKeepers alike are welcome to attend. Our tree planting projects are rain or shine, and we recommend closed-toed shoes and clothing that is appropriate for the weather and getting dirty. Hats, sunblock, and sunglasses are strongly encouraged. We ask volunteers to bring a reusable water bottle to reduce our waste.

The Education, Communication and Outreach Working Group (ECO) handles the Maryland Commission on Climate Change's public relations; the members work to educate Marylanders on climate change and to inform them about what the Commission is doing to address climate change's impacts on our state. ECO produces a series of webinars called "Commission Talk" that includes an annual end-of-year discussion with the Maryland Commission on Climate Change (MCCC) leaders about MCCC's recommendations to the Governor and General Assembly, which are published in an annual report each December 15. | |
