Event Description: Accessing Federal funds is no small feat but can be made easier when strong partnerships exist between applying entities. In this webinar, the Southeast Sustainability Directors Network and River Network will facilitate a panel on how to form strong partnerships between community-based organizations and local governments to access federal funds for climate resilience projects. Representatives from community-based organizations and local governments that have successfully navigated these partnerships will share their experiences. We’ll hear about the advantages and the challenges of accessing federal funds and how these two different entities can support each other in community engagement, organization, project planning, and execution, thus developing more compelling federal funding proposals.
