9:00 AM - 2:00 PM | Atlantic White Cedar Tree Planting & Maintenance Join the National Aquarium’s Conservation team—in partnership with The Nature Conservancy—to plant Atlantic white cedar trees, a vulnerable species, and help perform site maintenance at Nassawango Creek Preserve. This 15-square-mile preserve on Maryland’s Eastern Shore includes wetland and upland habitat and is home to 60 species of migratory birds and various rare plant species. This planting is part of an ongoing restoration effort through the National Aquarium's Atlantic White Cedar Program.

Worcester County Libraries asked the Ocean City Surf Club to host a huge Beach and Community Clean up on April 6th at 9am, meeting up at the 100th street lot behind the Ocean City Library! Please join us along with Assateague Coastal Trust, Maryland Coastal Bays Program, Beach Heros-OC, the OC Green Team and other environmental organizations to help clean up our beaches and our streets! We will provide gloves and bags/buckets and you may clean up any area of Ocean City you wish. Please see the flyer. All ages welcome!! Let's kick off the season litter free!
