9:00 AM - 12:00 PM 3rd Annual Garden Swap

On Saturday, May 11th from 9am to noon, hear from Master Gardeners speak about specific topics including native plants, invasive species, and the sacredness of gardening --

Our Plant/Seed/Supply Swap is a gathering to share gardening & landscaping ideas, supplies and knowledge for a healthier future for people and the environment. With 2 Master Gardener speakers and an invasive plant education table as well as an emphasis on native plants and growing edibles.

9:00 AM - 12:00 PM Litter Clean Ups
Join in and lend a helping hand for our litter clean up this Saturday. All supplies provided. Please wear close toed shoes or boots and appropriate clothing for a cleanup and the weather. Service Learning Hours available.
9:00 AM - 2:00 PM Swap & Recycling Event - Boonsboro
The Boonsboro Green Fest committee is sponsoring a Swap & Recycling Event in Shafer Park in Boonsboro on Saturday, May 11 from 9am - 2pm.
Clothing (including shoes and accessories) for the Swap will be collected on Friday, May 10 beginning at 3pm at Pavilion 1. If possible, please separate and label bags: Boys, Girls, Mens, Womens, etc. to help with sorting.
Mark your calendars now and be ready to Swap & Recycle usable goods--including plants, household items, art & craft supplies, accessories, shoes, books, and more. There will also be areas set up to collect hard to recycle items such as scrap metal, electronics, bulky hard plastics, glass, wine corks, disposable razors, beauty product packaging, dental care items, egg cartons and lots more.
A full list of items to be recycled will be posted closer to the event date as this changes slightly from year to year. Please note that we will not be collecting appliances containing Freon/refrigerants or household trash.
This event is open to the public and not limited to the residents of Boonsboro. If you are able to volunteer at the event or help with set-up and/or clean-up, please reach out to the committee at info@boonsborogreenfest.com.
**Horizon Goodwill and Hagerstown ReStore will be collecting donations. Children in Need will receive remaining clothing from the swap. As always, monetary donations from the clothing swap will be collected for Micah's Backpack--serving area children.
